ARA Response to COVID-19

In light of the direction of public health professionals, Archaeological Research Associates Ltd. (ARA) has implemented social distancing and self isolation procedures to “flatten the curve” of the pandemic’s spread. Accordingly, almost all ARA staff will be telecommuting to work until further notice. Given the peculiarities of our profession, many of our staff already worked remotely, so it was relatively easy to adapt our IT infrastructure to accommodate additional staff. Land lines have been forwarded to company cell phones and all company files and data are accessible via secure VPN. Emails will be received and answered the same as always. In other words, we should be able to continue to serve your archaeological and heritage needs without disruption.

On a more personal note, I’d like to wish you and yours well over the coming weeks. At times like these, business considerations must necessarily take a back seat to things that matter more; family, friends, and those in need. If there is anything we can do to make things safer or more convenient for you, please do not hesitate to ask us.
